Heartland Pregnancy Care Center is a private, charitable organization which serves women like you, their families and partners who come seeking help in making decisions about their pregnancy and related concerns. Heartland is supported by the local community, so there is no cost to you. The staff of Heartland Pregnancy Care Center is dedicated to caring for you. Your future is important to us and we consider it a privilege and honor to be a part of your life and assist you during such a crucial time.
You will be treated with kindness and compassion. Your story will be listened to with respect and courtesy. You will be given ongoing support in accordance with your needs and desires. You can choose to discontinue our services at any time.
HPCC is not a medical facility.
Heartland’s goal is to enable women to carry their babies until birth by providing emotional support and practical assistance free of charge. The staff and volunteers at Heartland never advise, provide or refer a client for an abortion or for abortifacients.
Heartland is committed to presenting the gospel to women with crisis pregnancies in word and deed. Therefore, those who serve as board members, staff and volunteers are expected to know Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Heartland is structured on the guidelines and resources developed by CareNet, a nationwide, Christian organization. A Board of Directors provides guidance to the center. Two staff members coordinate the volunteers and handle the day to day operations of the ministry. The ministry is supported and funded by individuals, churches and the local community.
In addition, Heartland is committed to creating awareness within the local community of the needs of pregnant women and that abortion only compounds human need rather than solving it.
The Heartland Pregnancy Care Center will provide prevention and education services, as well as trained peer counselors who will compassionately share the love of Jesus Christ to people facing crisis pregnancy and post abortive situations. This will be accomplished by using effective listening skills and providing free pregnancy tests, referrals to appropriate agencies, and ministering to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the whole family unit.
